Review

The nuclear disaster in Fukushima, the Euro crisis and the "arab spring" were the main events of the last year. Despite many imponderabilia the economy has mainted well in Germany.

GFD also allowed over the last year to welcome many new customers. We recorded above-average growth in 2011.

The great demand for our seals shows us that with our products and sealing solutions we are right. Our aims were far excelled.

At this point I would like to thank all our customers, partners and co-workers, without this the result would not have been possible.

We shall also continue to take great care in future to ensure we maintain the confidence of our customers.


Prospects for 2012

For 2012 the existing global risk make it difficult to make a prospect.

Based on our long-standing customer relationships, a good order situation, our mature products and innovation, however, we look positive to the future.

Also in the branch the order backlog of orders is good. The bottlenecks in the procurement of raw materials should also be eliminated.

We look forward for new challenges, challenging and innovative projects and develop and assume that we can achieve a moderate growth in 2012.

The Valve World Expo is the world's leading trade fair for valves and valve accessories.
In almost all industries fittings within complex manufacturing or process engineering can be installed. An important component here are the seals and sealing systems, which must withstand extreme operating conditions.
At the Valve World Expo we will inform you about sealing solutions using in valves.

Annual Review of 2010 and Outlook for 2011

Dear customers, partners and all those good friends of our firm, Dear co-workers.

Review

Looking back over the past year 2010 we can be proud of our performance. In retrospect after the results of the previous year 2009 we had low expectations for 2010 but in fact they were exceeded beyond all our predictions achieving a very satisfactory result.

The effort we had to put into all sectors of the business to satisfy every demand was prodigious.

I would therefore like to express my warm-hearted thanks to all our co-workers.

For these admirable results we are nevertheless deeply indebted to the abundant confidence that our customers confer on our products and services. We should therefore like to thank all our customers for their enthusiastic support.

We shall also continue to take great care in future to ensure we maintain the confidence of our customers

Prospects for 2011

Our branch is relatively optimistic. The healthy amount of orders in the ledger books of many companies, the fact that some firms are increasingly taking in more orders all endow with hope for 2011. This trend however, does not reflect a congruent improvement in all branches.

The dynamic of those two locomotives of growth, China and India, infuses a decisive impulse and perceptible acceleration in demand. Already in some branches they are talking of inadequate production capacity and supply bottlenecks of raw materials.

We anticipate however, that we will achieve a moderate growth increase in 2011.
